Title Search
Signature Title has their own in-house title examiner. With over 25 years of experience, he excels in both residential and commercial searches. Having an examiner in-house allows us to offer expedited services without having to go outside the company for any of our clients title needs.
Underwriting
Having an experienced in-house underwriter allows us to quickly and efficiently produce title binders and policies. Signature Title has been appointed to underwrite through various national underwriters including Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, WFG National Title Insurance Company and Old Republic Title Company allowing us to offer underwriting services exclusively or as part of a real estate transaction.
Closing

Title Insurance
Residential and Commercial lenders require borrowers to obtain a Lender's Title Insurance Policy. An owner has the option to purchase a policy to cover themselves as well. Traditional insurance policies protect insureds against future losses, however, title insurance is different because it protects against claims for past occurrences. An Owner's Title Policy is meant to protect your ownership interest in your home against any losses incurred due to any defects in the title that existed prior to you purchasing your home such as errors in the public record, undiscovered liens, omitted heirs, and fraud.
